Cheese and Macros

5 May, 2008

This is just a short update type of post.

I got Call of Duty 4 the other day and have had a jolly good time so far. The single player leaves something to be desired since the way to progress is move forward, as opposed to actually completing a task. However, I have been rather enjoying the multiplayer. I don’t want to sound like I’m bragging or anything, but I think I’m getting pretty decent at it. If you want to play with me, my Gamer Tag is Maxon Treik, but if you do add me, please let me know here on the blog.

Bioshock has been pretty good so far. I like the atmosphere. It’s very chilling, and I’ve been scared crapless by enemies that jump from around corners. My main gripe isn’t with the sense of morality (everyone has done enough complaining), but with the lack of proper objectives. So far it’s simply been a case of heading from Point A to Point B and activating something, then heading back to Point A. I don’t see this having replay value other than seeing what happens if you choose the opposite moral path. Nonetheless, it’s been very interesting so far.

Apollo Justice has been made of win and awesome, and I’m only on the second case. This game further cements my belief that this is the greatest series of all time. Apparently, it gets even better. I can’t wait.
