31 December, 2007

This AMV has been made courtesy of my friend Hybridial. The anime is Silent Mobius, and the song is Dark Wings, which is performed by Within Temptation. For the high quality version and more info:

Track This!

This has some great potential. The Nintendo Wii has already brought about big changes in how people play video games, and how they are viewed by the general public, as well as gamers. Even though there is the obvious application of the technology to FPS, I can see this being applied to other games, like fighting/martial arts games. Thanks to this technology, dodging, jumping and ducking have an influence, and may even be a necessity, in future games. Let’s face it; we’ve all tried to dodge bullets heading our way. That could be reality, and I cannot wait for it to happen.

Christmas (2007)

24 December, 2007

I went to Edinburgh today to buy some stuff for myself. I had a few things in mind but some of them were either sold out or they just didn’t sell them in the stores I looked in.

As a Foo Fighters fan, I felt I should get their latest album – Echoes, Silence, Patience and Grace. As always, I look forward to new Foo Fighters albums, even if the last two albums have been lacking that “Foo Fighters Quality”. I also bought Mother Earth by Within Temptation, and Dark Passion Play by Nightwish. I’ve been really getting into these two bands. I hear the odd song from other symphonic metal bands, but these two are the only ones that have a sound that I like.

My mum has been making the food for our Christmas dinner, which I actually almost look forward to more than the presents. It all looks good. Chestnut stuffing and regular stuffing are just some of the things I can expect. Mmm-mm! I have a vague idea of what I’ll be getting. However, I won’t be getting much because I got a ticket to T in the Park 2007. That was a good festival, but in all honesty, it wasn’t as great as I anticipated. Nonetheless, I enjoyed it. Here’s hoping T in the Park 2008 fairs better.

Have a Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays.
